Flash Video (FLV) is a proprietary file format used to deliver video over the Internet using Adobe Flash Player (formerly known as Macromedia Flash Player).
All YouTube videos are stored in Flash Video Format and in order to play them, you must save the files with *.flv extension first and then you need a flv video player to play them.
